Official statement: Maksim Zinovyev, WFC CSKA no longer head coach

Elena Petunina, WFC CSKA President:

“It's a tough decision. Maksim Zinovyev did a lot for the development of our club, but because of the recent results, he decided to leave his post. We thank Maksim for his work and wish him all the best!”

Igor Gusev will be WFC CSKA Interim Head Coach.

Maksim Zinovyev commented upon his decision:

“I want to thank everyone for the wonderful five years I spent at WFC CSKA; these years are the best in my football life. First of all, I would like to thank everyone with whom we worked together and made common business: the club's management, the players, the coaching staff, the service staff, the club's employees and, of course, the fans. Without hesitation and excessive pathos, I admit that I am proud to work in the WFC CSKA, with all these people”.
